2018 was an ideal vintage in many ways- cool and moderate allowing very even ripening. Perfect clusters of Chardonnay grapes were gently squeezed into French oak Barriques. Following a natural ferment, the juice underwent partial malolactic fermentation prior to maturation on yeast lees for 10 months.
This well balanced wine shows richness and depth. White nectarine fruit is imbued by subtle hints of spice and crème brûlée from a small portion of toasty Burgundian oak.
