A classic Spanish variety that has a comfortable home in the Geographe Wine Region of Western Australia. It loves sunlight and red dirt and produces lush big bunches with loads of colour and flavour. The 2018 vintage was even and moderate—perfect ripening conditions.
This wine has the typical savoury aromas of Tempranillo—graphite combined with sweet blackberry fruit and anise from classy French oak. Rich flavours of dark berries and spices fill the mouth and are supported by slippery tannins and a smoky oak finish.
Minimal sulphites added
